      Visual Designer Interview

      9 Mar 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at frog in Jan 2010

      Interview

The interview process is fairly casual. Bring a lot of work and show your process. Do a lot of the talking and be a people person. Ask questions to make sure it's a good fit for you. If hired, don't be afraid to negotiate salary. There is a huge range within a job title and they always start on the low side.

      16 Nov 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at frog (New York, NY) in Oct 2020

      Interview

Was contacted by a frog recruiter/Project Manager randomly and they asked if I could speak to a CD immediately, but they didn't give any info about the role and what kind of work they were looking for in the intro email, so had to follow up for some clarification. Once I heard back, set up a call, which ended up being a video call. Wish they would have been clear about whether it was a phone or video call also. I was able to receive more info about the job on the call, but by this time I was already put off by the disorganization from the start and lack of clear communication. During the video call, the hiring manager looked uninterested and stressed. It was one of the most uncomfortable interactions I've had. It would've helped everyone if the recruiter/project manager had clearly communicated the job info and what they were looking for before setting up a call. At the end of the call, I was told I would definitely hear back from either the CD or the Project Manager/Recruiter, but never heard back. Disappointed in how they treat candidates.
