I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Zara (New York, NY) in Sept 2013
Interview
I saw an ad on craiglist for an open house, so I went. there were about maybe 60 people there and they give you and application to fill out and you just basically wait to get interviewed. the moved the 60 of us into a larger room where the interview started. they collected the applications and went around the room one by one and asked "why zara?" and about our availability. they mostly want people to be available on the weekends. it took forever considering it was 60 people. after that they told us they would call or email people for a second interview. I haven't gotten anything.
super casual, just stand in front of a store,
it does not show the exact job title on job posting
like, job posting mentioned that hiring the full time sales, they actually hire the 2 months contract sales and part time
Visited the store and inquired about hiring opportunities. I was connected with the hiring manager and completed a straightforward in-person interview. The process was professional, welcoming, and provided insight into the role.
Group interview in their office in oxford street, just had to complete tasks together. Did a presentation and problem solving. Heard back from them in a week that I had got the offer.
