I applied online. I interviewed at Xanterra in May 2026
Interview
There was a preliminary interview with an HR person and then a second interview with a Yellowstone park maintenance manager. The second person missed the interview entirely, but I was able to reschedule it. They were both pleasant, but it would be nice to get some feedback on why I wasn't successful for the 8 to 10 positions I applied for in various maintenance capacities. I guess there must be a lot of competition despite the claim that it's easy to get a job here. Disappointing.
I interviewed at Xanterra (Yellowstone National Park, WY)
Interview
10 minute phone call, very easy, just asks you about server experience, what questions to ask when someone orders a martini, why Yellowstone, etc. you’ll be speaking to someone who does not work at the site but an HR rep and it’ll be over the phone without video.
