      Anonymous interview candidate
      Sydney
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at X (Sydney) in Sept 2014

      Interview

Referred through personal contact at Twitter. Initial phone call with recruitment function then face to face with sales manager. Initial phone interview briefly enquired on my knowledge of product as well as background and business types I'd previously sold into.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Nothing unexpected although didn't feel particularly well listened to regarding background, experience plus knowledge and potential application of Twitter ad products from the internal recruiter despite being especially well read on these.

      Sales Executive Interview

      21 Sept 2013
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Dublin, Dublin
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at X (Dublin, Dublin) in Aug 2013

      Interview

Referred by a friend who works there. HR woman reached out the next day and said they had several suitable roles for me. Scheduled a call with me and she never called. Later that day she apologized and rescheduled the call. Next call with the hiring manager. Good chat however I never got any feedback. HR will not reply to emails nor phone calls. 3 weeks later i received a standard email saying they had candidates with more experience, which is an obvious lie since she told me that they coudlnt find any native speaker of my language to move to Dublin. Needless to say the Position is still open. Dont care too much since i already had offers from other tech companies who wanted fo hire me. All in all their HR seems very unprofessional and lacks social skills, especially if you compare it to facebook, linkedin and google. Think Twitter is a great company and i like their product, but the interview process left a very bad impression.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

      None. Pretty straight forward questions.
