The process took 3 months. I interviewed at X in Aug 2018
Interview
Started off with the recruiter reaching out to setup a phone screen. After the conversation, I spoke with the hiring manager and an onsite interview followed. I was also given 2 days to finish a take home activity similar to what I would be doing on the job. Everything was fine at this point.
I provided availability on Wednesday and my interview was confirmed late Sunday night. Not only did it take a long time to coordinate, the onsite was setup for the following day. I ended up interviewing with the team with less than a day notice. After, I was asked to have one more follow-up video interview with another team member at 6am since that person was not in the office.
It’s been over 3 months and have not even received a rejection. After interviewing during inconvenient times and completing an activity, you’d think you would be given a courtesy email at the very least. I followed up a few times and never heard back. Very rude to put your candidates through the interview process without any feedback or follow up. Was completely ghosted.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at X (San Francisco, CA) in May 2019
Interview
A recruiter reached out to me, scheduled to talk wit the hiring manager directly, was given an assignment and then brought on site.
Never heard back about next steps in regard to my candidacy after the onsite. The process went on for too long, spreading out over 2-3 months.
Candidate experience is so bad everywhere these days, that rare is a the place that actually has amazing candidate experience for those that get offers and those that do not.
Was disappointed that things panned out in this way, but not surprised.
