Interview
This was by far my worst interviewing experience ever. The first person I was supposed to interview never showed up (I later saw that he took a meeting with two other people instead of my interview). The second person showed up late and 15 minutes into it took a phone call. The third person who was supposed to take me out to lunch said he had brought his own lunch and that I could go with him and buy something and bring it. After this round, the next round they tried to reschedule it from the Tuesday after to within the next two hours which I could not accommodate. Then when I went there the first person said that they thought we were supposed to meet at another time.

Interview
HR meeting was scheduled 2 weeks in advance without giving detail about the meeting except the name of the recruiter/ interviewer. Interviewer was late without apologies and obviously unprepared. She had such a thick accent that made conversation with her very difficult and was lack of awareness of it as well. Wondering why WU sent she to run the interview of this senior international role, she was obviously not up to standard. Overall speaking, it was an ineffective interview, unprofessional and off putting.
Suggest WU setting up a feedback system to collect candidates’ opinion for quality control and improvement purposes. Noticing WU has been recruiting this role for quite long time. Might it because of poorly run interviews (?) Perhaps is time to review the APAC recruitment performance.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Western Union (Denver, CO) in Aug 2021
Interview
The interview was more about fit. The interviewers were honest and fair. They didn't dodge any difficult questions but answered them honestly and diplomatically. I got the sense from their answers that they were aware of the market perception of WU being an old company with old way of thinking.

Interview
Applied online, and within a week received email for a phone interview with recruiter. Recruiter mentioned that was going to confer with hiring manager and that I sent an email following up because otherwise she forgets. Did not send email because I'm not interested in a company that encourages procrastination from the recruitment phase.
