      I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Western Union (Montvale, NJ) in Sept 2018

      Interview

      At first, spoke with the recruiter during a 30 minute interview. We reviewed my work experience and applicable skills set. She set up an appointment for me to meet with the hiring manager one week later. The discussion led to a face to face interview with the hiring manager at their Montvale NJ office, who was engaging and clearly listed job expectations. When describing the job expectations, however, they seemed slightly different to the recruiter's description. The latter's explanation emphasized the role's data analysis development, rather than sales development execution. The RAM is expected to perform support discovery of agent revenue performance trends. The findings would be shared with field staff, who would follow up with agents to mitigate agent attrition and build retail agent performance. She added that the office-based situation could be fluid, based on departmental needs, and the RAM could be quickly reassigned to other projects. The RAM should multi-task comfortably, while working in a potentially stressful environment, according to the hiring manager. Moreover, the selected candidate should expect to work independently as well as in a team environment. The position is more administrative than I anticipated. Overall, the interviewing process was perfunctory, but professional.
