I was connected through Wevr through folks in my network. I met with multiple people during the course of the interview including the CEO Nev and the CTO, Marcel. I also met with other team members outside of leadership. Everyone was very warm and welcoming and super passionate about the space they work in.
The interview itself felt warm and welcoming. It felt bi-directional like I could ask questions of them equally as much as they could ask questions of me. They care deeply about culture and took time to walk through their core values, many of which aligned with my own personal values.
One of the biggest "turn ons" for me is when we discussed DEI. (Something near and dear to my heart) I appreciated the fact that they were candid when they said they could be doing more which is why they wanted to bring someone onto their team with the experience that they could defer to. We discussed how important recruiting/hiring is to create diverse, well-balanced teams.
