      Sponsorship Sales Interview

      13 May 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Diego, TX
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Vistage Worldwide (San Diego, TX) in Apr 2019

      Interview

Phone call by HR assistant to setup a call with a HR rep. Had the call with the HR rep went well and the next day had a phone call interview with the hiring manager. Phone call went well and then was asked to have a phone call interview with the VP of sales and then to have a face to face interview with the hiring manager and counterpart. Did all three interviews. The phone call with the VP of sales went well and 1 out of the 2 face to face interviews went well. Unfortunately, I got a vibe during the face to face interview with the hiring manager that I really had to sell myself. I could tell I had more sales experience then her so it was a bit odd since she would be my manager. I sent two follow up emails thanking them for their time and the hiring manager never replied with a simple thank you for coming in. I waited a week before I follow up and got the standard email that you didn't get the job. I had to do all the follow ups.
