I applied online. I interviewed at Viking Cruises (Woodland Hills, CA)
Interview
It was a panel interview with four people, although one person asked the majority of the questions. Most of the interview focused on standard sales topics like metrics, KPIs, and the sales cycle. The overall atmosphere felt cold and uncomfortable rather than welcoming or conversational. One interviewer appeared completely disengaged, leaning far back in his chair the entire time like he would rather be somewhere else. The only question he asked was whether I had an issue with micromanagement, which honestly told me a lot about the company culture. Also, despite the role being presented in a way that suggested flexibility, this is essentially an in-office call center environment, not a remote role. The entire interview gave off a very rigid, high-pressure vibe. Personally, I did not walk away with a single positive impression from the experience.
