I interviewed at Veris Consulting (Washington, DC)
Interview
Mainly behavioral interview questions focused on strengths and relevant experience; four thirty-minute interviews and a casual lunch out of the office; pre-screen interview with recruiter prior to in-office visit; received an offer the next day
I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Veris Consulting
Interview
The recruiter did the on-campus interview and it felt a bit rushed. It was an uncomfortable interview even though she said she wanted to make me feel comfortable. They don't have that many people in the firm themselves so they probably can't have associates come down to interview campus candidates.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Standard questions like "Describe yourself with one adjective, how do you see that adjective coming into play with forensic accounting?" Also, they asked about one thing that would make you stand out from the crowd.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Veris Consulting (Reston, VA) in Mar 2016
Interview
I saw the job posting online and sent in my resume and cover letter. I heard back quickly and had a phone screen with the recruiter. She was very friendly and honest about the firm and the importance of a mutual fit. The next stage consisted of 3 in-person interviews and a lunch. The process progressed quickly and everyone was very responsive. I enjoyed being able to meet various people at the firm, not just the managing directors, to ask of lot of questions and get a good sense for the firm culture. It was refreshing after coming from public accounting!
