What are your biggest strengths and how do they align to this role?
I was scheduled to meet with 2 Managers in different sessions. The first interviewer was 10 minutes late, the 2nd didn't bother to dress professionally.
They both asked me to go through my resume. The 1st Manager did a role play where I had to conduct a mock 1-1 based on current status of employee. The 2nd was more focused on behavioral questions.
I found the Interviewers to be somewhat smug and as if they're doing me a favor. Wouldn't a good workplace environment contain elements of collaboration and partnership with your leader ?
Half way through it, I asked myself why I want to work for this firm and decided then and there to let's "get this over with".
I asked the 2nd Mgr what his priorities were this year...he really couldn't answer.
