I moved from DE to TX on 8/27/2015. I applied on 9/17/2015. I took an assessment on 9/18/2015. I called in on 9/29/2015 to get a status. (They said their process could take 4 to 6 weeks WOW!!!!) I did a phone interview on 10/8/2015. I did a face to face interview on 10/12/2015. I received a contingent offer on 10/14/2015. Background check completed on 10/20/2015. Drug test email received on 10/21/2015. (given 24 to 48 hours to complete) Completed on 10/21/2015. Received email for complete job offer on 10/23/2015. Started class on 10/26/2015.
My original offer email stated that {{I am pleased to confirm UnitedHealthcare Services, Inc. (UnitedHealth Group) has extended to you a contingent offer as a backup for the position of Customer Service Representative - Sugar Land, TX in the E&I Ops - B&E Operations division of UHC Benefit Ops - E&I Ops.
In the event that one or more of the individuals with standard offers are unable to participate in the training class for this position, you will receive a more detailed offer letter containing additional materials, including benefits information and a copy of UnitedHealth Group’s Employment Arbitration Policy. If you are selected to join the class and you successfully complete the pre-employment background check process, your start date will be October 26, 2015 and your base compensation will be $14.75 per hour (expected annualized salary $30,680.00).

The interview process was quick. During the process my recruiter was able to explain everything in great detail. It was a refreshing experience. It consisted of in person and group interviews.

Once you finally get a call it’s a quick interview process. I did 2 interviews but decided to move on. Pretty standard stuff, will ask you about previous insurance and/or customer service experience. Low entry level pay.
