      Manager RN Interview

      17 Sept 2011
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Las Vegas, NV
      No offer
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at UnitedHealth Group in Oct 2018

      Interview

I was contacted by Talent Representative who asked questions to see if I met the requirements for the position. He then forwarded application to Hiring Manager. She contacted the same day and interview was scheduled within a few days. She appeared t be interested and the interview lasted an hour. She asked many questions and stated it would be 2 weeks before selecting candidate. By the end of the week, I received a rejection letter stating they decided to move forward with another candidate. However, the same position was posted again the next day.

      Application

The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at UnitedHealth Group (Las Vegas, NV) in Sept 2011

      Interview

Applied online: one day later received email to do screening interview with HR, completed 3 days later. 1 week later phone interview with Manager that took 15 minutes. Next, two hour online IQ/intellect test (first time taking after being nurse for 16 years) and behavioral test. Panel interview with 4 people (MD, manager, and 2 nurses), it has been 4 days and still awaiting results of interview. I was informed at end of last interview that it would be a few weeks before hearing from them. Questions were repetetive in nature and mostly read from packet each person had, I had a few other "extra" unique questions asked by MD. By the end of the hour my brain was starting to fill like mush! lol.... Kinda felt like I as sitting on the stand in a courtroom. I expect this is normal though for manangement position. I will be very excited if I get this position since it would be the icing on the cake of my career, I'm just not looking forward to having my hair chopped off for a drug test. The last time this was done lab person butchered my hair. Although, I'm not sure what type of test they do, I'm assuming.
