I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at United Airlines (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2016
Interview
The process was extremely quick. I applied online and received an email saying if I was a qualified candidate they would send me an invitation to do a HireVu video interview. I received that in a few days after applying, and then I completed the video. I did pretty horrible because I froze up and was very nervous talking into a screen. Advice is to practice the questions and to make sure you are home alone because you might get nervous when you think people in the house are listening.
Two days later I was invited to a face interview in San Fransisco, CA. I drove the night before and got a hotel. I didn't have to make flight arrangements because I was only two hours away. The face interview was simple expect for there was a room of 40 people and I was the last person called so it took 4 hours before I was able to interview. Allow yourself as much time as possible to find the interview location. I had issues with this and was almost late. They asked me to give them examples of things that I experienced with customer service at my job. They had me read a script as if I was a flight attendant and asked me to tell them how I would handle an impatient customer on the plane due to weather situations. After the interview I didn't know if I would be led to another one, but I was not. I was a little disappointed because I had waited so long to interview and I figured that not making it to another interview that day would result in the fact that I was not chosen. The woman said she would give my information to a recruiter and they would contact me in 5-7 business days if I was chosen for training or not.
Hopefully there has been other candidates that were still emailed, but only offered one interview.

I applied online. I interviewed at United Airlines (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
