I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Unilever (Hoboken, NJ) in Feb 2025
Interview
Cold applied via LinkedIn and got an invite to the Discovery Day a few days later. Normally, you have to pass the personality/IQ test, then do a virtual interview, then the Discovery Day, but they seemed to care most about the Discovery Day. The Discovery Day consisted of a case portion and two 30 min interviews - one with a finance manager and one with a member of the Finance Leadership Team. They were very focused on your Why Unilever, knowledge of P&L statements, and favorite Unilever products and why.

Two 30-minute interviews with different people (one with a manager and one with a regular staff member)
A mixture of behavioural questions (ex. dealing with pressure) and an Excel test on basic functions (ex. SUMIF)
The interview very accounting focused. I was asked questions on familiarity with accounting principles, software, etc, and not at all about general finance. Asked about availability and ability to work in-office, and emphasized the in-office essentiality of the job
