I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Unilever (London, England) in Dec 2012
Interview
The application form is fairly lengthy and time consuming to fill out. After this I was invited for an interview, but initially there were no slots online. The interview was 30 minutes, and was formatted with a tight time schedule. The questions were largely competency based on examples from previous work experience/activities. There was a few general questions on why Unilever and what attracted you to a particular specialism.
