I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at US Postal Service in Nov 2015
Interview
I arrived at 6:30 am for my interview at 7 am, there was a huge line, once we were all in we were told that there was very limited spaces open and about 90% of us would not receive a position. Then we were told that many of the applicants have lied on their applications about being convicted of a crime, so they asked who lied so they could have a second chance to disclose it on the app, and low and behold MORE THAN HALF of the room stood up, which irritated me, due to the fact that there were so many applicants and limited spaces, so the ones that lied still get a chance? Um no, they should have been dismissed right then! So 4 hours later and I still have not been interviewed, the people were so unorganized, it was insane. The whole process took 5.5 hours. At the end we were told that we had been interviewed by ranking of test scores, highest to lowest and those with high scores would be hired first and they finally said out of the 113 people there today only 29 would be picked and that would be according to test scores. A complete waste of time for me.

It is very straightforward, first, you will get an email that you will accept or decline the offer, then you have to get fingerprinted and meet about the roles and responsibilities.

There was no proper interview, they brought us in to fill out some documents, to get fingerprinted, and to select our desired shift with no promise of getting that position.
