I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Detroit, MI) in Oct 2015
Interview
my whole process took about 2 months. I filled out the application then I had to do a 150 questionnaire. maybe 2 days later I was sent an email to schedule an assessment. As soon as I took my test they sent my results soon as I left the building. I thought I had failed my exam because it was timed and I didn't finish certain parts. you have to really concentrate during the exam but move really fast at the same time. I passed my exam, then a week later I was emailed to print some papers off and I had a scheduled drug screen. once I took my drug screen I received an email that said invite to interview. I went for my interview it was nice and easy, my interviewer strongly recommended me for the position and told me to watch my emails to select my schedule.

Interview
It wasn’t too intimidating. Background checks were conducted. Finger printing. A lot of formalities. This was prior to the holiday parcel rush so it was pretty quick easy and efficient. I don’t remember the interview process being too hard either.

The interview process was over an hour. They give you a specific time and date to attend. Once you get to the location, you would have to stand in a lobby til HR gets you. You and a group of others will go to a room where the interview will take place
