I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at UL Solutions (Fremont, CA) in May 2017
Interview
I got referred by my college friend and he told me pretty much what to be expected on the interview. Only 1 person interviewed me, a management guy, so he doesnt really know the engineering side of things and it was quite easy.
Super easy interview process and I was kinda shocked how nothing technical was asked, especially when you take in account the work you are required to do. For example, I applied for the Radio Frequency Intern position and absolutely nothing related to Radio Frequency was asked.
I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at UL Solutions (Northbrook, IL)
Interview
Asked a lot of behavioural questions about projects and stuff. Was on a Microsoft Teams call with someone from their hiring team. They were very enthused and disinterested. Didn't really ask any follow up questions
