I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Travelers
Interview
I applied to two different times for the same office. Both times it took almost 2 months for them to get back to me and the recruiter that reaches out to you is not thorough and will definitely ghost you. Both times I had a 45-minute interview with the hiring manager where they asked about my experience and some behavioral questions. Both times I received a rejection at 1 AM in the morning. I thought the interviews went well and because of my experience in underwriting, so I really have no idea what happened. Apply with caution and don’t get hopeful.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Travelers (Melville, NY)
Interview
I had three back-to-back interviews with three different managers in one day. All three managers had a pretty relaxed easy going interview style. All three managers seemed to care very much about training and mentoring which was great to hear.

Question 1
Very heavy on the classic generic interview questions, I.e- “name a time at your previous job where you had a disagreement with a colleague and how did it get resolved?”
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Travelers (Centennial, CO) in Jul 2023
Interview
The first round was a phone interview with a recruiter. It was super brief and they basically just asked me to walk through my resume. The second round was an hour long with two employees over Teams and asked a lot of behavioral questions and scenarios. I like how they treated it more like a conversation rather than drilling me and I was able to ask questions to them throughout the interview.
