I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Travelers (Spokane, WA) in Nov 2010
Interview
Refererred by a friend did phone interview took 7 part test including % word problems and reading comprehesion and data entry test that if you dont pass you dont move on. A one on one interview that day and then came back a week later for a mock phone call test and two one on one interviews. The mock phone calls are actual people (ACTORS) that call with insurance issues, kinda of wierd and you have someone watching you too. Received email telling me I was not selected and no reason as to why. I would ask up front what will disqualify you on a background check. I have a bankruptcy and i think they may have been why i was denied of course they wont tell so I will never know. I also have a ton of experience and Bachelors degree and I had a employee referral. I thought the interview went well so it must be that. Look into it if you have one (BK)it will save you alot of time!

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Travelers (Richardson, TX) in Apr 2023
Interview
The has been the best hiring process I have ever experienced in my life. Throughout this process Travelers have been very responsive, had great communication and been completely transparent. My first interview was by phone with a recruiter going over my experience, resume and the role. After the interview I was sent a link to the companies benefits in detail as well as the cost per pay period for the various great options they offer. I have never had a company share this before being hired. My 2nd interview was via Zoom with 2 hiring managers. This interview took a bit longer 2 hours but it was a great experience. The first 30 minutes they allowed me to ask any questions I had and they answered them all. The next hour the two hiring managers went back forth interviewing me. They went over my resume, background, experience, the role and its compensation and benefits. This was followed my behavioral and situation questions to be answer in the STAR format. (situation, action, task and result.) The last 30 minutes they brought in a employee on the call introduced her and and left the call. I was allowed to shadow this employee who was in the exact role I would be in, see the companies systems and talk to her about the what I would doing in detail. This is another incredible thing I have never had a company provide a 30 minutes preview of the work you will be doing before your employed by them very transparent! I would highly recommend Travelers to anyone looking for employment they have been great!
