I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Travelers (Saint Paul, MN) in Jan 2018
Interview
Recruited out of my role at the time. Brief interview with HR asking about desired salary, current salary, PTO, etc.
Went in for in person interview which was panel with two managing directors then one on one interview with the director above them.
Very easy. Conversational. Everyone at the company is extremely friendly and will make you feel comfortable. Just prepare your STAR questions.

Question 1
How do you organize your workload?
How have you dealt with delivering tough messages?
How have you dealt with working with difficult individuals?
Why do you want to work in _______ department/team?
The process was very welcoming. They asked a lot of personal questions as to why I want work there as well as experience that I have. There’s a screening interview and then there are about three interviews after that with different members of the team.

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Travelers (Alpharetta, GA) in Mar 2025
Interview
The interview was with 2 managers and their manager. They were very personable and easy to talk to. I felt like the interview was like having a casual conversation. I honestly didn’t think I got the job because the interview ended on time and I wasn’t sure if something I said ruined my chance but they offered me the job the next day.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Travelers (Charlotte, NC) in Oct 2024
Interview
Casual and loaded with typical generic interview questions one would expect when dealing with a national insurance carrier. Questions around past experiences and "How would you handle....xyz" questions. Nothing out of left field.
