I did a lot of research before interviewing with Travelers and heard a lot of horror stories but wanted to form my own opinion.
The first step of the process was a phone interview. After the phone interview I was invited to take a skills test which lasted approximately four hours. I was told I would hear back within a few days concerning the outcome of the skills test. I was invited for a face to face interview two weeks later. The face to face interview also included a manager via phone conference. Immediately after the face to face ( 5 min) I did a phone interview which included talking to someone who currently holds the position so I would be able to ask them more questions. This portion lasted about 40 min after which I did another face to face interview for about 25 minutes. I was told I would receive a call the next day for another phone interview with the field manager. I was called four days later and completed the interview afterwhich I was told I would hear something within the next 10 days.
Five weeks have passed and I have heard nothing. After two weeks I know I didn't get the job but I wanted to at least follow up so I called and emailed everyone I had talked to and received absolutely no response. I understand people get busy, but its very unprofessional to tell someone one thing, and do the exact opposite. This gives me an idea of the quality of leadership within travelers. It is no wonder there are few Travelers employees who have anything good to say about the company.
