Applied online. Got a pretty quick call from an out of state screener. Was asked to define several insurance terms. Was asked what salary I was looking for. Screener said I would move to the assessment round. Recd email from admin asst with date and time. Assessment is 3-4 hours long with 7-8 sections and it is timed. After I finished the assessment I was told I'd hear in 2 days if I was moving to the next round. When 2 days came and went I followed up via email. I was told I had passed the assessment and would be moving to 1st interview round. Sat with 2 supervisors (both very nice and put me at ease). Then sat with a worker who described a typical day. Then interviewed with 2 managers. All told, the process that day took approx 2 hrs. I was told I'd be moving to the next round of interviews and that it was a "long process". After no word after one week, I emailed but got no response. After 2nd week I emailed again but still got no response. After 3 weeks got a "sorry but we're not offering you employment" letter. I was very disappointed. I had thought highly of the people I met. However, how they handled things at the end was not professional. Also, the whole testing process and having to interview with so many people is overkill.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is your weakness? Describe a time dealing with a difficult customer and how you resolved it.
I had 2 interviews. First was an interview with 2 unit managers and the last interview was with the VP of the department. They asked the basic questions asking for prior work experience and they asked scenario based questions.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Travelers (Alpharetta, GA) in Jun 2024
Interview
The interview process was good. I initially spoke to an HR rep out of state, followed by an in-person meeting with two members of their leadership team in the Alpharetta office, followed by a meeting with a VP the next week. About a month after that I was accepted for the job.

Usually 2 rounds with hiring managers and claim director and then a peer interview after the initial screening call. Application is on Workday which can be obnoxious. It can take up to a month to receive an offer.
