      Actuarial Intern Interview

      11 Jan 2026

      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Travelers

      Interview

The first two rounds were very easy. Mostly behavioral/personality questions with a few technical questions mixed in. Not sure if it was because of my major/minor, but it was more of describing a process on how you would complete a certain task. One of the random technical questions was, "If you wanted to count the amount of traffic lights in your city's downtown, how would you do it?". It is definitely a think on your feet type of thing. The third round interview was 2.5 hours long rougly. Its broken up into 3 sections(45 min each). The first interview was just more resume questions, behavioral, mainly stuff I already spoke about in the first two. The second part of the interview was a job shadow where they walk you through what they do and theyll ask you questions to make sure youre following along. Pretty much data trends and stuff like that. Finally, the last interview was more personality/what would you do? type of questions. Very relaxed just show personality and not that youre a robot. Also, lots of follow up questions for all three rounds of interviews. Honestly interviews were very easy and nothing to stress about! They also got back to me very quickly. If you have an interview, the best thing is to not stress.
