I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at TransUnion (Cherry Hill, NJ)
Interview
I applied online and was contacted through an internal recruiter. I spoke with this recruiter briefly on the phone, and he told me that he thought I would be a good fit for the position. He then scheduled a phone interview with the manager of the department I would be working in. My phone call with that manager went well, and I was brought in for an in-person interview a few days later. I interviewed with 4 different people at the department. At the end of my interview, I was told the original recruiter would be contacting me with 3 written questions. I never received the questions or any other feedback from the interview panel or recruiter. Finally, I contacted them only to find out that they had pursued another candidate with more experience. Understandable, but the fact that they did not bother to send the written questions or contact me let me know they would not be sending them was extremely unprofessional. It says a lot about the company that they did not bother to follow up until I reached out. Do better.

I applied online. I interviewed at TransUnion (New York, NY) in Mar 2026
Interview
HR reached out and calendared an interview, I showed up, and he was nowhere to be found. I double checked to ensure it was not a scamI sent a follow-up and received no response but the job has been reposted. I think the recruiters may just fill their calendars with no intention to show up. Not a place I would want to work.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at TransUnion
Interview
I recently went through the interview process at TransUnion, and overall, it was a satisfactory experience. The process was structured and organized, which made it relatively smooth.
The initial screening was handled professionally, and the recruiter provided clear instructions on the next steps. The interviews themselves were a mix of technical and behavioral questions. The interviewers were courteous and related to the role.
One area for improvement could be the speed of communication between the interview stages. There were a few instances where I felt the process was slightly prolonged. However, this did not significantly detract from the overall experience.
In summary, the interview process at TransUnion was quite decent. The team was respectful and the questions were appropriate, although a more streamlined timeline would enhance the experience.
