I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Total Quality Logistics (Columbus, OH) in Mar 2021
Interview
Straightforward enough. The company reached out to me on Indeed, indicating that they would like to discuss my resume for an opportunity. I "confirmed my interest," and TQL asked me to fill out an online application. I did so, there were a few more exchanges, and eventually, we were able to arrange a phone interview. They asked me a few questions and, in the end, asked me to do an impromptu sales pitch. I was told that I handled it well and was advised on the next steps: i.e., meeting with a broker to do a shadow and a quick interview in person, but instead, I received an email simply stating that they would not be moving forward with my application. I was very confused and ultimately ended up feeling like I had wasted my time for no reason, especially since they were the ones who reached out to me...
