I applied online. I interviewed at Toronto Regional Conservation Authority
Interview
The interview was relatively quick and flexible. It was an in-person interview, but they had the option for an online interview if you were unable to make the in-person.
It was approximately 45 mins to an hour. They had some theoretical questions about what you would do in a certain situation in the field, and about organising events. It was overall an easy interview, and they definitely look to see your demeanour- to see how you will react with the general public. Additionally, while not officially tested, they were hoping to see your general knowledge of ecological life in the GTA - this includes plants and insects

Interview
It was a two person interview where one person was asking the questions and the other was typing everything you said. A lot of situational questions such as "name a time when you had a disagreement with your boss or supervisor and how did you work to resolve it" and "name a time when you were unsure on what to do and what were the next steps you took to resolve your issue". There was also a question asking "what do you think are the 3 most important attributes of a good team player and give an example of when you showed these attributes", So come prepared with stories from your previous jobs.

Question 1
Tell me about your past jobs/experiences and how they relate to this job,
situational questions as I wrote down above, slideshow questions where they show a slide and ask you what you think is happening in that slide (e.g. two men in coverall spray suits spraying herbicides, or a tractor pulling an attachment to aerate the turf), the last part was a super short plant identification quiz where they show a picture of a plant and you must name it (there were only 3 plants and they were all prominent/invasive species in Ontario).
