      Javascript Developer Interview

      9 Mar 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Austin, TX
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at TopDevz (Austin, TX) in Feb 2020

      Interview

I get an email asking me to rate from 1 to 5 my HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills. After doing so, the following week I am giving a link to Calendly to schedule a 15 minute interview, the only available time was three weeks away. So the three weeks pass and I am in this 15 minute interview again asking me how do I rate myself and what was my biggest professional failure. That Friday, I get a technical interview programmed for me for the following Monday afternoon. In other words, I did not get to choose what time would be good for me to have this technical interview. So on Sunday evening, I let them know this time and day would not work for me and I never heard from them again. I found the whole process to be inconsiderate of my time and I never got to learn who the potential client would be that I would be working for.
