Recruiter reached out to have a phone screening. She didn't call during the scheduled time so I shot her email asking if she was still good connect. She emailed saying she was in a meeting and to see if we can reschedule for an hour later. She was ten minutes late calling and when she did call, I think she was in her car driving?
She wasn't really apologetic it was more like oh sorry it's a Friday. Then she was like well let me first turn it over to you before I tell you about the role. I then asked if it was open to full time remote which said oh sorry I should have asked you that before.
The JD is no longer even on the site and the whole experience seemed like a hot mess that was a waste of time.

I had a first round interview with a Senior UX Designer. The interview was conversational and covered my background, experience, design process, and a few general UX questions. The interviewer was friendly, and the process felt organized. Although I felt the interview went well, I was not selected to move forward to the second round.

Para postularte debes pasar por un proceso de entrevistas que funcionan como filtros. Se requiere un alto nivel de inglés, ya que el trabajo es en equipos internacionales. Mi experiencia fue negativa: a pesar de haber pasado varias entrevistas —algunas incluso tuve que repetir porque los entrevistadores no se presentaron—, después de la tercera entrevista no recibí ninguna respuesta por parte del reclutador. Entiendo que posiblemente mi perfil no era el adecuado, y eso es totalmente válido, pero cortar la comunicación sin dar ningún tipo de feedback me parece una muy mala práctica. Muchos colegas me recomendaron la empresa, pero lamentablemente, mi experiencia fue decepcionante.

Conversation with a UX manager (not the hiring manager), portfolio review, and behavioral interview with a senior designer. Unfortunately never actually got to do the portfolio round because the role was cancelled right before the call.
