I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Y (YMCA)
Interview
Applications are online and you wait to hear back, usually you do not receive a response or even a notification saying the position has been filled. Unfortunately, the HR staff is unprofessional and disorganized. With my interview, there was much confusion - the HR rep had no recollection of offering me a face-to-face interview (in which the rep picked the time and sent confirmation emails). So when I showed up for the interview, the manager had to rearrange schedules to even meet with me because I "wasn't on the calendar". I was very discouraged for I always wanted to work for the organization but I am not fit for working with a group that is so terribly disorganized and unprofessional.

In person interview after phone call. Asked for three references and had a laid back conversation about my goals and experience. Was transparent about job description and pay, which was very little, but admin does their best to help.
The interview process was simple. I applied through their website and then waited about a week and then they called to schedule an interview. I went into the facility and had the interview. It took about 30 mins to an hour for the interview.

The interview process was easy and helpful! They were very friendly and encouraged growth in the position! I started as a counselor and got promoted fairly early on and I felt supported and wanted throughout the duration of my work experience with them.
