I applied through other source. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at The Y (YMCA) (O'Fallon, IL) in Apr 2014
Interview
One interview inside the camp directors office. Pretty relaxed interview, just basic Q & A and situational questions (I.e. If a kid was missing from your group, how would you go about finding him/her) I was told I was hired on the spot and filled out my paperwork the same day.

Question 1
If a child was injured while on the bus going to a field trip, how would you help the child while keeping the children on the bus calm?
Group interview with other canidates and panelists. Mostly get to know you style and situtational tasks. You will be interviewing alongside other canidadtes so make sure you stand out and seem unique. Howeer don;t overdo it and remain humble and willing to learn.
Fairly relaxed, standard questions related to your interest and experience with early childhood education. They didn't really go over my resume- many workers were in high school, so their expectations likely weren't high.
