I applied online. I interviewed at The HEINEKEN Company (London, England) in Jan 2020
Interview
I applied online at LinkedIn and got a call from Talent Acquisition to confirm I had been progressed to interview. I received an email confirmation with some info to prepare for it.
Once at the office for the interview, I was greeted by this person before my interview started and I thought this was a great touch. However, I was never given feedback at all afterwards, despite requesting it a couple of times to Talent Acquisition. This made the whole process very disappointing, even if unsuccessful it is just good business manners to give the candidates feedback. Candidates put time and effort in preparing and interviewing, this shows no respect whatsoever for that.
I interviewed at The HEINEKEN Company (New York, NY)
Interview
The Heineken interview process typically begins with an online application followed by an initial phone or video screening with HR. Candidates may then be asked to complete online assessments, particularly for graduate or analytical roles, covering numerical, verbal, or logical reasoning. This is followed by one or more interviews—either virtual or in-person—with hiring managers or panels, focusing on behavioral and situational questions using the STAR method. For some roles, especially in marketing or commercial functions, candidates may need to prepare a short presentation or complete a case study. The process concludes with reference checks and, if successful, a job offer. Overall, it’s structured to assess both cultural fit and role-specific capabilities.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The HEINEKEN Company in May 2017
