I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Body Shop (Peterborough, England) in Sept 2013
Interview
An informal chat up in the staff room and then an hour long trial shift.
The chat was one on with the store manager. She was really fun, cool and we got on well. She was clearly passionate about the products and we talked about makeup and beauty for a while. I then went downstairs on the shop floor and had a trial shift. I was outgoing, friendly and approached customers. Two ladies I approached allowed me to advise them on lipsticks and I ended up applying some products on them - this made the hour go fast, it was fun and I came across well because of it.
