I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The American Legion (Milwaukee, WI) in Oct 2023
Interview
Very easy, short interview. Pretty standard interview questions and they kind of seemed like they just wanted to fill the position as quickly as possible. It was just the one interview and they offered me a job. I declined because they were not willing to work with my current out-of-state Reserves military obligation. They were going to make me take PTO to travel for drill. I find this quite ironic since the whole point of the Legion is to support Veterans and they were going to make it very difficult for me to fulfill my service obligation.

Question 1
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Why the American Legion? What do you know about the American Legion? What are your salary expectations?
I applied in-person. I interviewed at The American Legion (Berkeley Springs, WV) in Aug 2022
Interview
Great, open and friendly. The commander and house committee was forthcoming and inviting and able to answer all of my questions. Great experience. The questions they asked me showed me that they care about the staff and the environment that they are staffing for customers.
