I applied through university. I interviewed at Texas Instruments (Dallas, TX) in Feb 2021
Interview
The interview process consisted of 2 rounds of interviews.
The first-round was conducted via a Webex video meeting with 2 hiring managers. Asked about me and several behavioral questions.
About a week later I was invited to a second-round interview which was a phone interview with a single TI manager within the finance, accounting, or operations space. More questions about me and my interest in TI as well as more behavioral questions.
The position I was applying for isn't very technical so it makes sense why the majority of questions were behavioral.
After a couple of days, I sent a follow-up email to the hiring manager that I had been previously been put in contact with and they reassured me that they would reach out when they had any updates. I didn't hear back for a few weeks until I finally was contacted by a different hiring manager explaining that my second round interview was being reviewed. Roughly a week passed and I was finally given an offer.
