I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Texas Instruments (Toronto, ON) in Jun 2011
Interview
I applied online for this position. I received an email first for a screen phone interview first. During phone interview I was asked about my background in software engineering specially in c++ and my previous projects. Then, 2-3 days after I got an email for 1:1 interview. The 1:1 interview took about an hour with the software team lead and a team member. The team leader explained in detail about the jobs and the organization and about the role. Then it was an OOP and a C++ skill test.

Question 1
What's the difference between pointer and reference?
It was ok. Asked specific questions about typescript and how to configure objects and differences between different data types. Overall a good experience. You should prepare the basics because you are questioned a lot on that.
Only one round
Easy DSA questions and some based on computer architecture and embedded processing. Prepare well for computer architecture, DSA of basic level is also fine as they don't pay much attention. Also join only if interested
