I applied online. I interviewed at Targeted Provision in Feb 2026
Interview
Interview process was structured but impersonal. Questions were read from a prewritten sheet and the interview was recorded for safeguarding/training purposes. Only weekend slots were available, two weeks after initial contact. Three minutes before the interview, multiple safeguarding reminder emails were sent, which felt last-minute. Following interview, no individual feedback was provided; only a generic list of potential reasons for rejection. Candidates are required to fund their own DBS if expired.

Interview
Not long, interviewers mostly wanted to know more about how to handle discipline in the online classroom rather than teaching the content - you don't need to teach a lesson as part of the interview at all.

Interview
Friendly recruiter at the initial interview. Discussion of background and relevant experience. Examples from your relevant work are useful. Good induction processes and lots of training appear to be offered.
