I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Target in Oct 2014
Interview
I received a phone call only a few days after I applied. The lady asked if I could work nights and weekends and then set me up for an interview the next 2 days. I answered some questions on the computer first (how would you handle certain situations on the floor), had 1st interview--about 6 easy questions, then watched a 5 min video, then 2nd interview, again, pretty easy, then was offered the job. Will start orientation next week.

Question 1
What did you work on as a team and what were the results?
What is a shoe size wasnt in that a customer wanted?
What is the price was $2 lower than you rung up?
Why do you want to work here? As a cashier?
Was just a quick 10 minute call from the store manager, didn't take long at all. He asked if I had the availability he was looking for and if I could be punctual. Smooth process
It was overall very brief from applying to hearing back. Was just a day of meeting with a couple managers and talking through a cashier job. Nothing too out of the ordinary for a role like this.
It was interesting. Not hard at all, straightforward, and pretty open people. It was an okay interview and what you’d typically expect. So don’t stress stress it, I mean kinda try your best
