I was hired as seasonal help and kept on as a service desk representative part-time. After most of a year I was approached by a manager to apply for different positions available. I didn't have to submit an official application, they just had me interview with the manager over the departments involved, especially since I hadn't worked near them before. Most important were questions about what I would do in certain situations like if a guest was unhappy or when I wouldn't be able to keep up with the demands of guests at our busiest times, how would I handle that. I was well matched with a position that matched the type of tasks I am best at.
