The owner didn't come into work, and I did not receive any notice until walking in for my interview. I was interviewed by another sales rep who could have cared less that I was there to potentially be a co-worker. She was on the computer nearly the whole interview. I was asked to do a little sales pitch based off the clothing in the showroom. She typed away on her computer the whole time. I would have rather of just cancelled the interview knowing the owner wouldn't have been there.
Being in a growing company - I get it, the workload can be crazy. But you can take 5 minutes out of your time to at least look at me. Unprofessional and uninviting. A shame cause it sounded like a fun position!
Emailed the owner who coordinated my interview and never even heard back from her as to why she cancelled.
I applied online. I interviewed at TWNZ Showroom (New York, NY) in Oct 2016
Interview
What I thought was an interview was more like a judgement zone. I was interviewed by the owner. & i guess I was not what she expected (I am African American) & she cut the interview short by saying I was rolling my eyes while explaining my current position. I have been interview since I was 14 years old & i am very aware of my body language during the interview process. She was very ignorant & trying to give me feedback which I did not ask for. As the owner of the company I expected a level of professionalism to be a little above the norm. She was far from professional & very ignorant. Beware.....
