A couple weeks to get back from initial application, first screener then HR call, interviewer was initially late to call but pleasant to talk to.
Total length was around 40 minutes or so. Questions were standard format, read off the Job listing and whether you verify for each bullet point-
Explanation if you are fully vaccinated, your previous work experience, asked about how you feel turning up late, how you feel not turning up to a scheduled appointment, how you feel about upselling products, give an example of customer service with a client- either good or bad.
Run down of what the job would entail, a few weeks training off-site and then explained the pay ( not as competitve as they said, a bait and switch, you'll start at the lowest even with relevant exp )
the role seemed very little about the technical job but much more sales-oriented and gathering whether you can manipulate/ find tactics to oversell products to customers.
I would remind applicants to do diligant research and avoid working at Telus, please read the online reviews on different websites to understand the feedback + culture and what's really happening to previous staff.
