      Coach General Care Interview

      7 Oct 2010
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

The process took 1 week. I interviewed at T-Mobile in Mar 2010

      Interview

First there was a phone interview. I was contacted by someone in Arizona. This was a basic screening interview and went fine. Next I was scheduled to meet with an HR representative at the office. I met with teo HR personnel who seemed like they did not have much experience with the interview process. They were 20 minutes late with no explanation and were struggling to follow a list of questions of matrix. This was apparent as they did not seem to listen to my answers as their papers distracted them. They also asked me to do a mock role play with one of them. She played a rep with an attitude and I was asked to see how I would handle her. Since there was little prep time or enough background to know exactly what they were looking for, I had to guess. While I was waiting, I had time to observe the office culture. No one wore suits, but the office was very professional and friendly. At that time they were having an employee appreciation BBQ in the parking lot which seemed to support both what I saw and what they had been saying in the employee video I watched in the lobby. The “pods” were open, spacious and clean. The equipment seemed newer and up to date. For someone going on this interview, I would try to confirm the structure and content of the interview so you can be prepared for what they will ask of you.
