The interview process was fine overall and mostly focused on generic questions around how my experience aligns with the role. One thing that stood out, however, was some confusion around my location, even though it was clearly stated on my resume.
From the discussion, it also seemed that the company does not have a very clearly defined or structured hiring process for this role. My understanding is that candidates may go through six or seven — potentially even more — interviews with different individuals who appear to be operating at a similar level within the organization.
While I understand the value of meeting multiple stakeholders, the process felt somewhat unstructured and gave the impression that the organization is trying to maximize exposure to different team members rather than following a streamlined evaluation approach with clearly differentiated interview objectives.
