Most of the interviews were ok, not so much technical. But there was this interviewer who was very disrespectful. Considering he reached such a position with such attitude, I was glad to not move forward with it.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What experience in working in the specific technologies
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Stem (San Francisco, CA) in Sept 2021
Interview
Interview process was straightforward but I didn't apply but was approached by recruiting agency. Did an initial call to get introduced with what's being done at Stem. Provided the CV to them and got handed back a coding excercise. Excercise was actually really fun but they don't expect too much (based on me later reviewing the same for other candidates). After that, I had interview panel with a few engineers, chief architect and directors from different teams related to dev (QA, Devops). Interview questions were realistic and not overly complex.

Question 1
How would you go about optimizing response time of an API?
It was good, easy and friendly. It involve a phone screen and then followed by an onsite if you did well. As long as you really know your stuff, the interview is not difficult
