Stem interview questions

So i just gave interview for reporting associate role and it was a disaster the interviewer didn't had any idea about the role they were hiring for so there were two female interviewer who asked me technical question entire interview (45 minutes) and in the end one of them asked me a foolish question that you sound very technical and suppose you don't get to use any technical aspect for 6 months then how will you manage this and i was completely thrown away like this is a technical role then if you are saying to me that i will be doing something that is not mentioned in jd that sounds to me as unclear boundaries you don't know what actually you are hiring for and what actually i would be doing at the job and that is the exact reason their company did poorly in fy 24-25 and they had layoffs because you dont have any clear idea what you being hiring for . In the jd they also mentioned one very big red flag that was you will be working first five days of each month irrespective of weekends/holidays and it was not rotational but fixed to this particular role .
