Recruiter was great to work with and communicated well throughout the process. The two interviews I completed felt a bit disconnected. The interviewers appeared distracted at times and didn't seem particularly engaged in the conversation.

Question 1
Tell me about your background? Why do you want to work for Stay AI?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Stay Ai in Mar 2025
Interview
Had a great 1st intro call with HR. I was offered a role elsewhere so I politely withdrew, but otherwise would have been very excited to continue. Seems like a great company, good pay, benefits, etc.

Standard – Work history, what I was looking for in my next role, etc
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Stay Ai
Interview
I was targeted by a third party recruiter who was lovely. However when I joined my first call with the head of people/talent, it became immediately clear that there was some kind of bias. She was snarky, unkind and quite clearly didn’t want to talk to me. We had a typical first conversation, all she asked was for me to walk through my experience and give a few details on contract sizes I’ve sold.
I knew I didn’t get it from 30 seconds in, why even do the call?
Then 5 DAYS later I received an email saying I was out. Shocker! But when asked for feedback 3 minutes later - I heard nothing.
Stay clear of this overconfident recruiting process. They will make you feel bad and likely waste your time.
