I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Stay Ai in Dec 2023
Interview
The entire process felt peculiar right from the initial interview. Upon joining the call, I was informed that the interviewer had already contacted my previous employers to inquire about my work ethic. I found this odd, considering it was my first interaction with the company. Surprisingly, despite being the interviewee, I took the lead in asking questions. However, each query I posed resulted in superficial responses, except when inquiring about the team's well-being. In that instance, the interviewer enthusiastically shared that he was excelling and had single-handedly built the pipeline. While I perceived him as kind, the overall experience had a somewhat comical undertone.

Question 1
What do you know about the company? Why do you want to work here?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Stay Ai
Interview
I was targeted by a third party recruiter who was lovely. However when I joined my first call with the head of people/talent, it became immediately clear that there was some kind of bias. She was snarky, unkind and quite clearly didn’t want to talk to me. We had a typical first conversation, all she asked was for me to walk through my experience and give a few details on contract sizes I’ve sold.
I knew I didn’t get it from 30 seconds in, why even do the call?
Then 5 DAYS later I received an email saying I was out. Shocker! But when asked for feedback 3 minutes later - I heard nothing.
Stay clear of this overconfident recruiting process. They will make you feel bad and likely waste your time.
