I applied online. I interviewed at Starbucks (Arlington, VA) in Nov 2014
Interview
The online application is lengthy. Didn't hear anything for over a month. Received a phone interview first deceiving the job, pay, hours. Wanted to know if I was still interested. Then went into the store for a face to face interview. Manager was very nice, talked about Starbucks policies, mission statement, what I was looking for. Hours I could work. Over all a very relaxing interview.
Basically a short chat about my availability, my interest in the job, why I want to work there, how familiar I am with coffee and what my past experiences in hospitality were.
Easiest interview I've ever had. I was only asked 3 questions, 'tell me about yourself, what are your strengths & weaknesses, what is your availability?' Lasted about 10 minutes maximum
Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. We appreciate your input and are happy to hear that you’ve enjoyed the interview process here at Starbucks.
it was great. I answered every question thoughtfully and easily. You have to have two interviews, one with the manager and one with the district manager. It is a in person interview. They ask many questions and will either hire you on the spot or you will have to call to see if you get the position.
